What about covering their mirror with post its in a heart shape, each with a little love note – who wouldn’t love to come home to that. Of course these ideas could also be used for an anniversary or birthday too. If you are hosting a party a cute idea is to have photos hanging from red balloons!

    • Fresh strawberries (preferably large and ripe)
    • Semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips
    • White chocolate chips or melting wafers
    • Piping bag or small plastic bag
    • Wax paper or parchment paper
    • Small bowl for melting chocolate

    Instructions

    Start by washing and drying the strawberries. Make sure they are completely dry so the chocolate will stick properly.
    Next, melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring in between every 30 seconds until it is smooth. Take each strawberry by the stem and dip it into the melted chocolate. Let any extra chocolate drip off before placing the strawberries on a tray lined with wax paper. Melt the white chocolate chips in a separate bowl. Pour the melted white chocolate into a bag with a small hole cut in the corner. Carefully pipe the letters “I,” a heart symbol, “L,” “O,” “V,” and “U” onto the strawberries. You can also make swirls or dots for extra decoration.
