Christmas Hula Hoop Decorations

    It’s so easy to make Homemade Christmas decorations using just a hula hoop and fairy lights. A hula hoop is so cheap to purchase and this is such an easy and fun DIY Christmas project to make. You can Spray paint it the color of your choice to go with your scheme. You can make a wreath for your front door or even a festive chandelier to hang from your ceiling.

    Supplies

    • A large embroidery hoop or metal hoop (painted white)

    • Artificial holly leaves (or real ones if available)
    • Pinecones (natural or painted for a festive touch)
    • A Christmas ornament (for the bottom decoration)
    • Hot glue gun and glue sticks
    • Red satin ribbon (for hanging the wreath)

    Instructions

    Begin by spray painting the hoop white and letting it dry.Next, use hot glue to attach a glittery reindeer in the center of the hoop. Then, add a “Believe” sign on top of the reindeer for a festive touch. Glue holly leaves and pinecones around the bottom of the hoop, spreading them out for a natural appearance. Finally, hang a gold and white Christmas ornament from the bottom of the hoop and add a red ribbon at the top to hang up your wreath. That’s all it takes to create a beautiful wreath for your door, wall, or mantel.

    Supplies

    • A large hula hoop or embroidery hoop
    • Red and white ribbon or fabric strips
    • A large decorative bow (red or any color you prefer)
    • A wooden or foam snowflake ornament
    • Hot glue gun and glue sticks
    • Thin twine or fishing line (for hanging the snowflake)

    Instructions

    Wrap the ribbon or strips around the hoop in a candy cane pattern, securing the ends with hot glue. Keep wrapping until the whole hoop is covered. Take a large bow and position it at the top of the hoop.

    • Mini string lights (battery-operated)
    • Twine or thin string
    • Mini clothespins (for clipping photos)
    • Hot glue gun and glue sticks
    • Printed photos (various sizes for a dynamic look)

    Instructions

    First, decide if you want to paint, wrap, or keep the hoop as it is. You can use spray paint to make it gold, white, or any other color that goes well with your style. If you like a more natural look, you can leave the wooden finish as it is. Next, use a hot glue gun to carefully attach artificial flowers and greenery to one side of the hoop. Then, cut some twine or string into pieces and attach them to the hoop with hot glue or by making knots on each side. Make sure they are tight and evenly spaced. Use mini clothespins to hang your favorite photos on the twine. You can print them with a border like a Polaroid picture, or add colored paper frames for a pop of color. Illuminate the display by wrapping battery-operated fairy lights around the hoop. You can weave them in between the flowers and secure the battery pack behind them to keep it hidden.
