    Supplies

    • Colored construction paper (blue, green, brown, pink, purple, yellow, etc.)
    • Scissors
    • Glue or tap
    • Markers or crayons
    • Sticky notes or a small piece of paper (for the message)

    Instructions

    Use blue construction paper as the base for your card. Cut a large brown rectangle for the flower pot and glue it near the bottom of the card. Cut out a small brown strip for the pot’s rim and glue it at the top of the pot.
    Cut three to four flower shapes from pink, purple, and cream-colored paper. Cut out small yellow circles for the flower centers and glue them onto the flowers.
    Cut thin green strips to make stems and attach them under each flower. Write “I Love You Because…” on a small piece of paper and glue it to the front of the flower pot.
    Let the child write a personal message on each flower (e.g., “You make me laugh!” or “You give the best hugs!”).

    2. Moms are Like Buttons
